ABG Intellectual Property has successfully completed an external audit process carried out by Oca Global for the renewal of ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 certifications. This examination certifies that, in the delivery of our services, both our Quality Management Systems and our Information Security Systems meet the requirements established by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO).
ABG IP obtained these certifications for the first time in 2020; following this renewal, our ISO 27001 and 9001 certifications have been extended until 2025 and 2026, respectively.
ISO 27001: guarantee of confidentiality for our clients
In an increasingly digital environment, the ISO 27001 standard in particular sets forth a fundamental principle for the legal industry because it provides a guarantee that our clients’ information and documentation:
- is stored and processed securely, preventing unauthorised access on a physical or contractual basis;
- is unaltered or modified; and
- is accessible when necessary.
This ensures that ABG IP complies with the principles of data confidentiality, integrity, and accessibility. All of them are essential elements in the industrial and intellectual property sector.
Certainly, safeguarding our customers’ information has been a priority since our inception, and we have physical and logical safeguards in place. Furthermore, we have formed a work group that is diligent in adhering to the ISO 27001 standard and that is forming our team to recognise and avoid potential security risks.
ISO 9001: client satisfaction guarantee
On the other hand, quality in the delivery of our services has also been another of the pillars of ABG IP since our inception. We put this idea into practise by maintaining a collection of policies, procedures, documented processes, and records that govern how we provide our customers with services.
