Since 2019 ABG Intellectual Property has been selected among the best patent law firms in Europe by the prestigious Financial Times. In addition, in 2022 we have once again won medals in all categories of the “Europe’s Leading Patent Law Firms” ranking:

Selected in every edition

With the 2022 edition, there have now been four editions of this list published by the British newspaper, and ABG IP is proud to have been included in all of them along with other renowned law firms from all over Europe. To make the selection, the German company Statista, in charge of carrying out the study, has received 3200 surveys answered by patent attorneys from agencies and companies, as well as by clients.

In this regard, it should also be added that, unlike other rankings and directories, firms cannot apply as candidates to be included in this study. This means that both ABG IP and the other 166 selected IP agencies have been mentioned for their service and reputation by the members of the sample.

Excellence & quality

It is this feature in particular that makes us particularly proud of this award year after year. It has been clear to us since our inception that excellence in the provision of services and quality in customer service would be our hallmarks, and we understand that the Financial Times’ “Europe’s Leading Patent Law Firms” award is an excellent thermometer to confirm that both missions are fulfilled every day.

Behind this selection and behind our brand there are, today, around 70 people distributed in offices in Madrid, Barcelona and Bilbao who provide services to national and foreign clients. We have 19 doctors, 17 European patent attorneys, 10 Spanish patent agents and 6 lawyers who are looking after the interests of our hundreds of clients every day.

It is the work of the members of our fantastic team that has made us an international benchmark in the IP sector, but also the talent and creativity of scientists and inventors and the commitment to innovation of companies and other institutions that choose us to protect their developments. To all of them, once again, we thank you for trusting us.
