Two editions of the Global IP Awards and twice ABG Intellectual Property has been chosen “Patent Prosecution Firm of the Year” in Spain. Representatives from our firm accepted the award this Thursday evening, 15 September 2022, at a gala dinner at which also attended colleagues from the best agencies and law firms that specialise in intellectual property of the World.
“It is really thrilling to get this award for the second time, highlighting the excellence of our patent prosecution services. Since 2020, a lot has changed at ABG IP, but our values and the high-caliber staff we have working on each client’s case remain the same. Thanks to all of them for having made possible for us to receive this recognition again”, said Juan Arias.
Our cofounding partner of ABG IP went to the awards ceremony accompanied by Laura Montoya, head of the Legal & Litigation department of our firm.
Outstanding achievements
Regarding the prizes, the publisher states:

- The IAM Patent 1000 ranking for 2022 has granted us the highest recognition (gold) in the category “patent prosecution” for the eleventh consecutive year and bronze in the field of “litigation”. It has also individually highlighted all our partners and the associate responsible for our litigation department.
- WTR has also highlighted our services in trademarks, both in litigation and litigation. Three colleagues from ABG IP have also been recommended individually for their daily work.
In any case, the importance of this new Global IP Award, which we are honoured to win, is not diminished in the slightest by those rankings. We are overjoyed.
