Estefanía joined ABG in 2023 as patent adviser in the Chemistry & Materials Department. Her practice is focused on patent drafting, prosecution, opinion work and FTOs in the material science, inorganic chemistry and nanotechnology fields.

Before she started at ABG, she worked as researcher in the Organic Chemistry Department at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.

Estefanía received the extraordinary master award for being the best student in her promotion. Her doctoral thesis work was developed in the area of Inorganic Chemistry, consisting of the synthesis and characterization of new organometallic complexes of titanium that could be used as catalysts in the synthesis of ammonia from dinitrogen, under mild conditions of pressure and temperature. The results obtained were published in several articles in prestigious scientific journals, such as Angewandte Chemie, or Chemistry – A European Journal as well as in a patent application.

In 2019 she made a predoctoral stay at the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg, Germany.

Estefania is a Spanish native speaker, and is fluent in English.
