At a ceremony held in London on April 6, 2011, ABG IP was named “Spanish Patent Prosecution Firm of the Year” as a result of the 2011 World IP Survey conducted by Managing Intellectual Property (MIP) magazine. The highly regarded MIP rankings are based on in-depth market research and interviews with peers and clients across 75 countries.
The award for “Spanish Patent Prosecution Firm of the Year” marks ABG’s third appearance in Tier 1 of the MIP ranking of Spanish IP firms. At the ceremony, ABG founding partners Juan Arias, Francisco Bernardo and Vicente González said: “We view the award as recognition of the hard work of our team since the firm’s foundation in 2003. The award is also for our clients, who trusted the firm and helped us reach a prominent position among IP service providers.”
