ABG Intellectual Property was once again one of the exhibitors at the 20th edition of BioSpain 2023, an event that on this occasion took place between September 26 and 28 at the Fira de Barcelona – Montjuïc.
It is organised by the Spanish Association of Biocompanies (AseBio), of which ABG Intellectual Property has been an ally for three years. In this edition, it has also had the collaboration of Biocat, the Barcelona City Council and the Generalitat de Catalunya.
Two of ABG IP’s patent experts with extensive experience and stellar reputations were present at the booth 124:
- Agustin Alconada, Partner at the ABG IP Department of Biotechnology and Life Sciences, European Patent Attorney, and Unified Patent Court Representative,
- Irene Vázquez, European Patent Attorney and Associate at our Barcelona office’s Department of Biotechnology and Life Sciences.
According to the organisation, attendance at this year’s BioSpain 2023 broke previous highs. There were 2100 visitors from all over the world in total. This nourished public turned it into an excellent opportunity to share concerns with biotech and pharmaceutical companies, as well as research groups and other representatives from technology and research centres.
To this, more than 60 round tables were held during the conference’s three days, giving attendees the opportunity to converse and debate the latest news and advancements in an expanding field in which Spain holds a prominent global position.
Additionally, there were more than 60 roundtable discussions held over the course of the three congress days where participants had the opportunity to discuss the most recent innovations and advancements in a field where Spain is a prominent player on a global scale.
