Lluís joined ABG in 2024 and is the associate in charge of the Engineering & Physics and Information & Communication Technology (ICT) Departments of our Barcelona Office. He has been active in the field of Intellectual Property since 2002.

His practice focuses on IP portfolio management and drafting, filing and prosecution of patents and other IP assets. Lluís regularly serves as an expert in patent infringement and nullity litigation and provides expert opinions in cases involving design rights. He is European Patent Attorney (EQE, 2010) and Spanish Patent and Trademark Agent (2009).

Prior to joining ABG, Lluís was a partner and head of patents at a well-known IP boutique in Barcelona.

He actively participates in professional associations such AIPPI (AIPPI), International Federation of Intellectual Property Attorneys (FICPI) and European Patent Institute (EPI). Lluís frequently lectures in IP programmes including “European Patent Law Course”, organised by the Centre for International Intellectual Property Studies (CEIPI) and the School of Industrial Organization.

Lluís is a native Spanish and Catalan speaker and is fluent in English.
