According to Financial Times, we are the fifth patent law firm in Europe and top in Spain. This is according to the special report “Europe’s Leading Patent Law Firms 2024” which was released today by this respected British newspaper.
In 2019, we were the only Spanish IP firm selected for the first edition of this list. We received recognition in the six categories of the report the following year and have since exceeded our results to arrive at our best medal count in 2024:
- Biotechnology, Healthcare, and Food: Gold
- Chemistry and Pharmacy: Gold
- Electrical Engineering & Physics: Gold
- Materials and Nanotechnology: Gold
- Mechanical Engineering: Gold
- IT and Software: Silver
This recognition is of high value for ABG IP as it is the result of a thorough and objective research study that surveyed a cohort intellectual property experts. Specifically, Financial Times commissioned German company Statista to develop the report, which was conducted in February and March of this year among 3500 patent attorneys working in patent law firms or as experts in the patent departments of companies (peer-to-peer survey); and clients who have consulted with or commissioned the analysed patent law firm.
As a result, we can conclude that the inclusion of ABG IP in this ranking is to be seen as a reflection of the quality of our services.
